Team Ninja is letting players try out Nioh 3 with a demo launching on PS5 this Thursday, January 29, 2026. Producer Fumihiko Yasuda announced the demo on the PlayStation Blog, along with a new trailer showcasing fast-paced battles against tough enemies and hinting at several challenging new boss fights.
Your progress in the demo will carry over to the full game, so you won’t lose any of the effort you put into leveling up or trying out different strategies. Plus, the demo lets up to three players team up online to experience and test the improved combat system before the game officially launches.
Okay, so if you grab Nioh 3 early, you’ll get some cool armor sets as a bonus. They’re based on outfits from the previous games – the Youngblood Armor, which is inspired by William from the first Nioh, and the Lone Wolf’s Armor, worn by Hiddy in Nioh 2. You’ll unlock the Lone Wolf set by getting the Hellfrost Armor Set first. The game itself is coming out on February 6th, 2026, so mark your calendars!
