Offset is feeling grateful after his scary situation.
After being shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida on April 6th, the Migos rapper publicly discussed what happened following his hospital release.
Offset shared on Instagram on April 10th that he appreciates everyone reaching out and sending their support. He says he’s doing okay now and is focused on getting even better.
He shared that he’s prioritizing his family and health, and eager to return to making music. He’s come to understand that life is a mix of small successes and big setbacks, but he’s determined to keep striving for the best.
A representative for Offset confirmed to TopMob News that the rapper, whose full name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, has been discharged from the hospital and is able to walk.
The representative said they were very thankful for the excellent care provided by the doctors, nurses, and all the hospital staff.
Rapper Offset, who has seven children – including Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 19 months, with his ex-wife Cardi B, and three others from previous relationships – was hospitalized with injuries that police in Seminole County described to TMZ as not life-threatening.
Police arrived at the scene right away and were able to quickly get the situation under control, according to a police spokesperson.

A representative for Offset later confirmed to TopMob that he was at the hospital being treated for a medical issue.
After the shooting, the Seminole Police Department told TopMob News that rapper Lil Tjay, whose real name is Tione Merritt, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, specifically a first-degree misdemeanor under Florida law.
Police have also held a second person, but haven’t filed any charges against them yet. The investigation is still underway to find anyone else who may have been involved. The person who was hurt is recovering at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, with injuries that aren’t considered life-threatening.

According to jail records obtained by TopMob News, Lil Tjay faces charges for driving without a valid license in addition to a previous charge. He has posted a $3,000 bond and is awaiting trial for both offenses.
However, Lil Tjay’s attorney denied that her client was involved in the situation with Offset.
Attorney Dawn Florio clarified on Instagram on April 7th that reports of Lil Tjay being shot or charged with a shooting are untrue. She urged the public to rely on credible news outlets and confirm information before spreading unverified rumors.
