Once Human Announced for Xbox Series X/S and PS5, Out in 2026

In the latest update for Starry Studio’s “Once Human”, version 2.0 is now active, introducing a fresh class system and PvE scenario. Interestingly, on its launch day, the developers revealed plans to release the survival shooter on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 in the year 2026.

As a fan excitedly speaking, I can now add it to my wishlist on both the Xbox Store and PlayStation Store, even though it’s a free-to-play game! The Xbox version offers cross-platform multiplayer and co-op play, allowing me to team up with players from PlayStation and PC. Additionally, it supports 4K Ultra HD resolution, and surprisingly, console versions will also support keyboards and mice for those who prefer them. On the PlayStation side, they’ve even mentioned compatibility with the DualSense controller and Singstar Microphone! What a unique feature set!

Although Starry Studio hasn’t specified a release date yet, they mentioned in their announcement that both versions of the project are almost finished. They plan to unveil sneak peeks and optimization adjustments tailored for each platform shortly.

Keep an eye out for further updates in the meantime. In the interim, PC gamers have something exciting to anticipate: “Once Human: RaidZone” set for release on July 30th. This game offers a Player-versus-Player experience where you can gather resources, construct bases, and either form alliances or betray other players.
