Crunchyroll has had a very successful year, bringing several popular anime films from Japan to North American audiences. While Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle was the biggest hit of 2025 and became the most profitable anime film ever, it wasn’t the only film Crunchyroll released. Fans are eagerly anticipating a TV series for Demon Slayer, but it looks like another group of anime heroes fighting demons will arrive first.
Fans can now own Chainsaw Man The Movie: The Reze Arc digitally starting next Tuesday, December 9th. The movie, following Denji’s battle with the Bomb Devil, will be available with both the original Japanese audio with English subtitles and an English dub. Studio MAPPA announced the release on social media, confirming that both versions will be available from all major digital retailers.

Chainsaw Man And Crunchyroll

The new movie featuring Denji and Reze is now available to rent or buy digitally. Currently, Crunchyroll hasn’t announced when, or even if, the Chainsaw Man movie will be added to their streaming service. However, given that Crunchyroll already streams the first season of the anime, it’s likely the movie will be available there sometime next year, though the exact date is still unknown.
MAPPA, the studio behind the Chainsaw Man anime, hasn’t announced when or where Denji’s story will continue. There’s plenty of source material from the manga still to adapt, but it’s unclear whether they’ll continue with more anime seasons or release content in another format. Adapting the current events from the manga will be a significant challenge due to the intensity of the battles.
The popular manga series continues with no end in sight, which is great news for fans of action-packed stories. Several other major series, including My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen, have recently concluded, while others like Sakamoto Days, One Piece, and Black Clover are nearing their endings. Meanwhile, the conflict between Denji and the War Devil is escalating, and the fate of the world – even parts of the United States – is at risk.
