The 2000s were a fantastic era for animated TV. The decade offered a huge variety of shows – different art styles, characters, and stories – and is often remembered as a peak period for channels like Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and Disney Channel. Many of these shows are still beloved classics, and now one of the very best is returning with new episodes.
More episodes of Phineas and Ferb are now available on Disney+. These are the newest installments from Season 5, which returned last summer after a ten-year break. The episodes will include appearances by special guests like Meghan Trainor, Anna Faris, Cristo Fernandez, Megan Rapinoe, and Iain Stirling.
New Episodes Are Only The Beginning for Phineas and Ferb’s Renaissance
Fans are already excited about the new fifth season of Phineas and Ferb, and there’s even more to look forward to! Disney+ has also released a new series of shorts called Agent P, Under C, featuring Phineas and Ferb’s secret agent pet, Perry the Platypus. All eight episodes are currently available on Disney+, and a new movie is also in development.
A new Phineas and Ferb movie is coming to Disney+ and the Disney Channel! Production begins this year, and it will be the third feature-length film for the series. The story revolves around a time-travel mishap caused by Dr. Doofenshmirtz, which threatens Phineas and Ferb’s very existence as brothers. According to the official description, Doofenshmirtz’s experiment accidentally erases the meeting of their parents, meaning they never become brothers and everything becomes ordinary. Phineas and Ferb must then race against time to fix the timeline and save their brotherhood before it’s too late.
A sixth season of Phineas and Ferb is also planned, though details about its release date haven’t been announced yet – it’s currently expected around 2026. In the meantime, fans can rewatch all the previous seasons on Disney+.
