After a five-year hiatus, One-Punch Man is set to reappear on TV screens this October, with Saitama’s third season promising more battles between the Hero and Monster Associations. Despite Saitama not experiencing any power reduction, the surface world is still under threat from terrifying subterranean creatures. With Saitama needing assistance, he’ll find it in abundance as top-tier heroes of the Hero Association gear up for action. Some of these heroes are quite peculiar, and animation studio JC Staff has decided to highlight one of the most unusual protectors with a new sneak peek.
Even though Child Emperor appears as a junior high student, his heroic rank places him fifth on the Hero Association’s list. Despite not possessing the strength to defeat monsters with a single blow, Child Emperor compensates with an incredibly intelligent mind. In the first two seasons of One-Punch Man, we’ve occasionally witnessed glimpses of his abilities, usually employing advanced technological weapons to accomplish tasks. Recently, JC Staff released a poster teasing that the diminutive powerhouse will have many important tasks ahead in the upcoming third season.

The One-Punch Man Controversy
Recently, One-Punch Man has been causing quite a stir among anime enthusiasts due to its third season and the scarcity of fresh updates prior to its October debut. At the Anime Expo recently, JC Staff failed to unveil a new trailer or set release date for the much anticipated return during the yearly event, leaving many anime fans dismayed. With no firm release date announced and even English voice actors admitting they haven’t started recording their lines yet, there is growing apprehension among anime fans that the third season might miss its original timeline.>
The anime isn’t the only platform where discussions about Saitama and his comrades have been met with debate. The manga created by ONE and illustrated by Yusuke Murata has experienced its fair share of fan disputes due to what are known as “redraws.” For those unaware, a “redraw” refers to instances where Murata goes back to previously drawn pages or panels, often adding new artwork or re-creating scenes in order to meet his high standards. This practice has led to frequent revisits of old chapters and alterations that have left many readers confused.
Looking forward to finding out if fans embrace One-Punch Man season three, as it delves deeply into Garou, the antagonist who slays heroes. Interestingly, Garou is typically viewed as the main character in this storyline, which represents a stark contrast compared to the first season. Fingers crossed that we’ll witness the start of Garou’s battles this October.
