After a long wait, Old School RuneScape has finally announced Leagues 6, dubbed ‘Demonic Pacts’.
A year has passed since the conclusion of League 5, which many consider to be one of the most successful Leagues to date, especially with Raging Echoes as its finale.
Now, after months of rumours, we can finally start getting excited for the next edition.
So, when might Leagues 6 start in OSRS, and what can we expect from it? Here’s what we know so far.
OSRS Leagues 6: Demonic Pacts release date speculation
As of today, Jagex hasn’t announced when Leagues 6 will be released, but we have a few ideas about when it might happen.
The recently released teaser trailer, shown during the New Game+ showcase, heavily features the number 666.
This might simply be a nod to the number 666, often associated with the devil. However, if we interpret it as a date, it corresponds to June 6th, 2006 – the day of the well-known Falador Massacre.
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Falador Massacre, we’re announcing that Leagues 6 is expected to launch on June 6, 2026.
We’ll share more details at the Winter Summit on January 25, 2026, so be sure to check it out!

What to expect from Leagues 6 in OSRS
Jagex hasn’t shared any official details about Leagues 6 yet, but the title ‘Demonic Pacts’ suggests it will likely involve demons.
Expect to encounter more bosses, discover additional Relics, unlock new Combat Masteries, and earn significantly more experience points.
Also, the regional restrictions used in the Trailblazer League are likely to be implemented again.
Jagex has announced more details about Leagues 6 will be shared at the Winter Summit on January 25th, so we won’t have to wait much longer to learn more!
