Regional Differences In Event Items Have Led To Confusion Regarding What Rewards Are Available

However, another problem is that players in different regions are receiving different amounts of content. The big 2026 update for Overwatch has a lot to offer, and extending the event for another week gives players more time to explore everything new. According to Keller, the number of free rewards players can earn from community loot boxes will significantly increase – doubling in the second week and tripling in the third week. Looking ahead, Keller also hinted that rewards won’t be limited to loot boxes, suggesting players might soon be able to earn skins and other cosmetic items directly.

Many fans of this hero shooter have come to expect some kind of problem every few months, so the recent issues with the 10th Anniversary event weren’t a huge surprise.
