Ironwood Studios just released Pacific Drive on Xbox Series X/S, and a new expansion called Whispers in the Woods is now available on all platforms. The expansion adds a new story that takes 8-12 hours to complete, along with several other improvements. You can watch the launch trailer below.
Players will venture into a previously unexplored section of the Olympic Exclusion Zone and encounter a mysterious cult. The update features fully voiced new characters, unique maps with strange altars, and new ways to customize vehicles with fresh parts and visual upgrades. Expect to find new anomalies, altered routes, and additional garage locations as well.
One of the most significant additions is the Artifacts system, which makes gameplay more challenging and exciting, especially as you progress further in the game. Plus, Wilbert Roget II has returned to create a brand new, chilling soundtrack.
Pacific Drive is available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Released in February 2024, it reached one million sales within its first year. You can find our review of the core game here.
