Ben Affleck Hated Wearing Batman’s Suit

Despite receiving acclaim for his portrayal of Batman and Bruce Wayne, the films Ben Affleck starred in didn’t receive much praise. Many issues stemmed from corporate interference on most DC projects he was involved with. For instance, Suicide Squad underwent significant edits during post-production, according to director David Ayer; the released version wasn’t his original cut. The Flash suffered due to changes in leadership at the studio who wanted something different from the movie. Justice League, on the other hand, has a well-known story of Joss Whedon reshooting large parts of Zack Snyder’s film after he left production. Initially, Affleck had plans for his own Batman movie, but these fell apart as he stepped away from the DC universe.

Stranger Things Prequel Almost Axed Over Bizarre Prop Malfunction!

In the Netflix documentary titled “Behind the Curtain: Stranger Things: The First Shadow“, viewers get a peek at the production process behind the play, including how a malfunctioning prop almost caused major problems. As the team readied for their West End premiere, they faced recurring issues with the Virginia Creel death scene. Each time they rehearsed and tested, the robotic Virginia’s limbs broke while seated rather than when she was floating in mid-air. At one point during the documentary, you can see theater producer Sonia Friedman looking noticeably frustrated.
