Additional details on Persona 6 have emerged via the game’s listing on the Xbox store.
Which is nice, because the game’s teaser trailer basically told us nothing about anything.
Honestly, the official description of the title isn’t revealing much we didn’t already suspect, but it does verify a couple of details.
Persona 6 will once again put players in the role of a high school student in Japan. Unfortunately, if you were hoping the series would feature older characters, it seems that won’t be happening this time around.
Similar to previous games in the series, this one will balance everyday student life with a hidden world of supernatural mysteries.
Okay, so it looks like I’ll be building relationships with my friends again to make my character stronger – thankfully, it sounds like the core gameplay loop we all love is still there!

The recent trailer definitely leaned into a darker mood, and the green color of the logo feels like a hint that this might be a horror or spooky story. I’m wondering if the characters are maybe ghost hunters?
