1HP STUDIO, a South Korean game developer, has revealed INARI, a fast-paced pixel art platformer where you play as a kunai-wielding character. The game draws inspiration from titles like Katana ZERO, Nine Sols, Celeste, and Ghostrunner. INARI will be released on PC through Steam. Players can try out a demo and support the game’s development through a Kickstarter campaign launching on January 13th.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
INARI is a fast-paced action platformer with a fantasy setting inspired by the East. You play as an executioner tasked with tracking down the Seven Daughters who rebelled against their powerful Lord. Master quick, intense combat using kunai and teleportation, but be warned – you only have one life!
Key Features
- Lightning-Fast Kunai Combat – Master kunai throws and instant teleportation to control space and momentum. Chain attacks, reposition in a split second, and carve through enemy formations without hesitation.
- When Two Worlds Collide – As the dominion of the Lord begins to fracture, the seven princesses, known as the Seven Daughters, rise in defiance of the mighty Lord. Divine authority collides with the advancing technology of the Mortal Realm, pulling two forces toward a massive war. To restore order, the High Realm sends down an executioner.
- Izna the Reaper – You are Izna the Reaper, an enforcer sent by the Lord himself. Your mission is simple: eliminate the Seven Daughters and reclaim their souls. Justice is not for you to question. Only the order matters.
