Once again this year, unlike Microsoft and Nintendo, Sony Interactive Entertainment has opted not to participate as an exhibitor at Gamescom for the sixth consecutive time.
Previously, PlayStation made its appearance at the event back in 2019, which makes their potential return this time around not entirely unexpected. However, it’s worth noting that there’s a chance they might unveil something or show a new trailer during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19th. So, we’ll have to stay tuned for further updates.
As a devoted gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Konami is bringing a hands-on demo for “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater” and a fresh trailer for “Silent Hill.” Capcom’s “Resident Evil Requiem” will be playable, with potential updates on the horizon. The anticipation builds as we await a new demo for “Crimson Desert,” possibly along with a release date announcement. Lastly, get ready for the global unveiling of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
Gamescom 2025 takes place from August 20th to August 24th. Keep an eye out for further information and announcements until then.
