Okay, so PlayStation Plus is getting a new batch of free games in May 2026! We’ve been able to grab Lords of the Fallen, the Tomb Raider I-III Remastered collection, and Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream this month, which has been awesome. But those games are going to disappear next week, and Sony just revealed what’s coming to take their place – three new titles we’ll be able to download with our PS Plus membership. Can’t wait to see what they are!
On May 5th, PlayStation Plus is adding three new games: EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and Nine Sols. All three will be available to download on PS5, and EA Sports FC 26 and Nine Sols can also be played on PS4. These games will be available on PS Plus until June 2nd, when they’ll be replaced with a new selection of games that haven’t been announced yet.
The biggest highlight is likely EA Sports FC 26. As the newest installment in EA’s popular soccer series, its arrival on PS Plus is a significant event. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is also a welcome surprise, especially since it’s a relatively new action game. And despite being the smallest title added, Nine Sols is potentially the best – this indie action game has consistently received excellent reviews since launching in 2024.
In addition to the games already announced, PlayStation Plus will also be getting the classic Time Crisis shooter later in May. This updated version of the original PlayStation game will be available as part of the PS Plus Classics catalog, but only to those with a Premium subscription. PS Plus Premium members will still have the option to buy Time Crisis separately from the PlayStation Store.
Hey, just a heads-up for my fellow PlayStation players! If you haven’t grabbed April’s free PS Plus games yet, you’ve got until Monday, May 4th, to do it. Seriously, don’t wait if you want them, because there’s no telling if they’ll ever be offered again on PS Plus. I’d hate for you to miss out!
