I was really excited to see that Biolab Wars is now available on PlayStation! It originally came out in 2019, but it only hit the PlayStation Store in 2022. A PS4 Game for Fans of Old-School Games
The trailer for Biolab Wars shows that the game draws inspiration from classic 8-bit video games and action movies of the 1980s. You’ll notice similarities to games like Contra, Metal Slug, and Super C.
You lead a team of three mercenaries who are sent to explore an alien laboratory hidden on Earth. Expect plenty of action, including big explosions and battles against hostile aliens.
If you’re thinking of trying out this incredibly affordable PS4 game, you can expect it to take around 2 to 4 hours to complete. It’s not a lengthy game, but at just 19 cents per hour of gameplay, it offers a better deal than most games on the PlayStation Store. Plus, this is the lowest price this game has ever been offered for on the digital PlayStation store.
The game has received very positive reviews on the PlayStation Network. A large majority of players – 55% – gave it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. Another 22% gave it a 4 out of 5, making it the second most frequent rating.
