Pokémon Dev’s New PS5 Game Might Be Slightly Cheaper Than Expected

Game Freak, the company behind Pokémon, is planning to start taking pre-orders for their new PlayStation 5 game, Beast of Reincarnation, soon. The game might also be more affordable than many players anticipate.

According to the usually accurate Dealabs leaker BillBil-Kun, the upcoming game Beast of Reincarnation will cost $60 and is expected to release on PlayStation 5 on August 4th, 2026. The official announcement is scheduled for today.

The standard version of the game is expected to cost $60, while a Deluxe Edition with extra in-game content will be priced at $70. According to BillBil-Kun, the Deluxe Edition includes the following items:

  • Black & Brown Shiba Skins for Koo
  • “Oni’s Hat” for Emma
  • Emma’s sword “Big Dipper”
  • 100,000 Amber (in-game currency)
  • A number of vegetable seedlings
