Now that classic Pokemon LeafGreen and FireRed are available on Nintendo Switch, players are revisiting older creature-collecting games. These older titles, like the originals from 2004, were known for being challenging, especially without features like the EXP share. Some fans feel recent Pokemon games have become too easy with all the updates. That’s where games like EvoCreo come in – they offer a nostalgic experience with a good level of difficulty. EvoCreo recently launched on Steam after being popular on mobile devices, and a sequel, EvoCreo 2, is on its way. We now know when it will be released.
Following the success of the original, EvoCreo 2 offers a classic pixel art adventure where you collect and battle Creo creatures. Originally released on mobile last year with a strong 4.8/5 star rating, the game is now coming to PC for the first time. Considering how much players enjoyed the first EvoCreo on PC, EvoCreo 2 is expected to be very popular as well. Ilmfinity Studios announced today that it will be available on Steam starting April 6th.
EvoCreo 2 Sets Steam Release Date with New Trailer

EvoCreo 2 is the next installment in the EvoCreo series, offering a brand new world and storyline. You don’t need to have played the first EvoCreo game to jump in and enjoy this exciting creature-collecting adventure on PC. This time, you’ll explore the region of Shoru as a cadet at the Shoru Police Academy, investigating the mystery of disappearing Creo. To solve the case, you’ll need to build a powerful team and battle your way through challenges.
The latest game in the series lets players collect and train over 300 Creo, and is expected to take around 30 hours to complete. It features the same tough, strategic battles as the original EvoCreo. Players can also enjoy ranked online battles or friendly matches with friends. And for those who prefer to play solo, EvoCreo 2 can be played entirely offline, focusing on the story.
It appears EvoCreo 2 delivers everything players enjoyed in the original game, while also introducing new creatures (Creo), a fresh story, and several quality-of-life improvements. You can see the updated world map and new Creo in the release trailer below.
While clearly inspired by Pokémon, EvoCreo brings its own fresh ideas and battle strategies to the monster-taming genre. Fans are already enjoying the sequel on mobile even more than the original EvoCreo, making its arrival on Steam a great addition to the platform. EvoCreo 2 will be available on Steam starting April 6th for $19.99, and you can add it to your wishlist now.
