At the beginning of Pragmata, you only have one slot for modifications, making it tough to choose the right upgrade for battles. Luckily, you’ll unlock more slots as you advance through the game’s story.
This guide for Pragmata is all about upgrading the number of slots you use for mods.
Unlock The Shelter
Hugh and Diana find a safe place right after the game’s opening. This central location lets you build and improve your gear using the Unit Printer terminal.

Most features won’t be accessible right away. You’ll need a significant amount of Lunafilament or Pure Lunum to upgrade anything – that covers weapons, skills, and even smaller improvements like nodes and modifications.
Eventually, you’ll find Mod Slot upgrades under the Attachments tab. To start, this tab will only show the Repair and Thruster upgrades.
You can upgrade ‘Additional Mod Slots’ up to level four, giving you a total of five mod slots. This upgrade becomes available as you improve your Shelter, so just keep playing and you’ll eventually unlock the blueprint.
