Actor Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi recently discussed where the story of Predator: Badlands could go next. He proposed a challenging matchup for his character, Dek, suggesting a confrontation with one of the terrifying creatures from the Alien movies. He believes this would be a significant test for the young Predator in a future installment.
Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi on who Dek should fight after Predator: Badlands
Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, who played Dek in Predator: Badlands, talked about which Predator could be a tough fight for his character if the story were to continue.
In an interview with The Direct, actor Schuster-Koloamatangi considered what kind of enemy would be a good match for his character, Dek. He pointed out that many famous movie monsters wouldn’t pose much of a challenge, saying Dek would likely defeat them easily.
The actor paused, then referenced a creature from the recent Alien: Romulus film. He asked, “What was that tall, hybrid creature in the last Alien movie?” He then playfully suggested a crossover between the franchises, jokingly urging director Dan Trachtenberg to make it happen, saying, “Dan, let’s see that! What are you thinking?”
The comments were made while discussing the digital release of the newest Predator movie, Badlands, directed by Dan Trachtenberg. The film follows Dek, a young member of the Predator race, played by Schuster-Koloamatangi, as he journeys to a hazardous planet to hunt a fearsome beast called the Kalisk. Along the way, he encounters Thia, a synthetic human played by Elle Fanning, who has a troubled past. Together, they must overcome several life-threatening obstacles as the story progresses.
