Now, it’s available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD, letting fans experience it again at home.

I was so excited to hear the director talk about what influenced the movie! They said that two of the biggest franchises from the 80s were huge inspirations, and surprisingly, also mentioned being inspired by certain paintings. It’s a really interesting mix of influences that I think will come through in the final product.

The Predator movies typically focus on humans surviving against incredibly dangerous alien hunters. Throughout the series, from jungles to cities and even other planets, people have repeatedly battled the Yautja. Predator: Badlands was different, though, because it told the story from the perspective of a Yautja named Dek, making him the main character.
The movie allowed viewers to delve into a previously unexplored aspect of the Predator universe. It highlighted the harsh and violent nature of the Yautja culture, and expanded upon ideas introduced in earlier films.
Predator: Badlands is now streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
