People are still talking about the upcoming remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and the excitement isn’t dying down.
This game has been in development for a long time, and we haven’t seen much of it since its initial, somewhat rough, reveal in 2020.
As a big fan, I remember reading back in December that Tom Henderson over at Insider Gaming said the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake was aiming for a mid-January 2026 release, and he eventually narrowed it down to the 16th. That got a lot of us hoping we’d see something about it at The Game Awards, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen.
Okay, so as a huge Prince of Persia fan, I’ve been keeping a close eye on things, and it looks like we’re finally getting closer to the new game dropping! People have been digging around on the official website and found some clues that suggest it’s coming out really soon.
It looks like Ubisoft has been uploading a lot of new files recently, likely getting ready to release the game.
Recently, people following the game’s development found a file named “game-release-tomorrow.png,” strongly hinting that the Sands of Time remake will be released tomorrow.
It’s still unclear if this will lead to anything significant, but we’ll keep you informed about any updates regarding the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake.
What are your thoughts? Does it seem like the game is ready to come out so quickly? Share your opinions in the comments!
