Prince William Shares Rare Update on Kate Middleton’s Recovery

Prince William is reveling in Kate Middleton’s good health.

Following the Princess of Wales’s first trip abroad – to Italy – after her cancer diagnosis, her husband, whom she has been married to for 15 years, marked the occasion with a candid interview.

William recently shared how proud he is of Kate, especially considering everything she’s faced over the past couple of years. Speaking on Heart Breakfast on May 22nd, he expressed his happiness that her recent trip to Italy went so well, noting she’d been really looking forward to it.

The 43-year-old revealed that Kate was so focused on preparing for her trip to Reggio Emilia – where she was continuing her work with the Centre for Early Childhood, a foundation she started in 2021 – that even their private moments were filled with talk of it.

William explained that his wife was very dedicated to her research. She spends countless hours reviewing documents, and is highly knowledgeable about early childhood development. He joked that it’s often a struggle to get her attention in the evenings because she’s always preparing to read more paperwork.

So, when the trip was a success, he added that his wife “came back buzzing.”

William is delighted to see Kate returning to a more normal life, especially as they enjoy time with their children: Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.

He described his wife and mother of their children as incredible, saying they wouldn’t be able to manage without her. He repeatedly emphasized how wonderful she is, stating simply, ‘She’s been absolutely stunning, really.’

Although the trip to Italy went very well, William mentioned they are being careful as Kate starts traveling internationally again.

She’s gradually starting to do more of those longer trips again. Those trips are really draining because she’s constantly working and interacting with people. We need to make sure she gets enough rest and is feeling well, but she’s doing great right now.

Kate spent two days in Reggio Emilia, Italy – a city famous for its forward-thinking preschools – where she met with families, teachers, and local officials.

Ahead of the May 13 trip, a royal spokesperson shared the intent of the 44-year-old’s mission.

The Princess is excited to travel to Italy next week, and she’s particularly interested in observing the Reggio Emilia approach to education – a method that focuses on nurturing children’s growth through connection with nature and positive relationships.

Kate recently shared her plans to resume public engagements. In a post on X (formerly Twitter) in January, she wrote that she was optimistic and excited about the year ahead.

Princess Eugenie announced in May that she and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are expecting their third child. They are already parents to sons August, age 5, and Ernest, age 2.

Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, was arrested on February 19th, his 66th birthday, and is suspected of wrongdoing while holding a public position.

The arrest happened as questions resurfaced about Andrew’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew maintains he has done nothing wrong.

Prince William and Princess Kate expressed their sympathy for the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse following the release of court documents related to the convicted sex offender.

A spokesperson for The Prince and Princess of Wales said they are very worried about the ongoing disclosures and continue to think of those affected, according to a statement released to MS NOW on February 9th.

Marius Borg Høiby, the oldest son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit and stepson of Crown Prince Haakon, was arrested on February 1st for assault, threatening someone with a knife, and breaking a restraining order, according to a statement from Oslo police to The Associated Press.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following this case closely. This 29-year-old, who isn’t a royal and doesn’t have any official responsibilities, is being held for up to four weeks due to concerns he might offend again. The judge approved this extended detention. His lawyer, Petar Sekulic, has mentioned they’re thinking about appealing the decision, which is completely understandable given the circumstances.

Høiby is scheduled to appear in court on February 3rd to face charges related to four alleged rapes that occurred between 2018 and 2024. He is also accused of two instances of domestic violence and violating a restraining order.

Okay, so his lawyers finally put out a statement – it was to the AP, but still! Basically, they’re saying he completely denies everything about the sexual abuse claims, and he’s also denying most of the stuff about the violence. It’s… something, I guess. I just want to know the truth, honestly, and it’s so hard to figure out what’s really going on with all this drama. I’m trying to stay hopeful that it’s all just a misunderstanding.

Flora Vesterberg, whose grandmother is Princess Alexandra (a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II), has announced she is expecting her first child with her husband, Timothy Vesterberg.

I’m so thrilled to announce that my husband, Timothy, and I are expecting our first baby! We are absolutely overjoyed and couldn’t be happier about this new chapter in our lives.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the news, and it’s quite a moment – Harry recently showed up in London’s High Court to begin a trial that’s expected to last several weeks. He’s taking on Associated Newspapers, the company behind the Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, and Mail Online. The case revolves around accusations that they used some questionable and unethical methods to gather news.

Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley, and Sadie Frost are also joining the lawsuit against the publishing company.

Associated Newspapers has “vigorously denied” the claims, according to the BBC.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle marked their tenth anniversary as a couple by posting a sweet, black and white video of them dancing at home.

The couple shared a sweet video set to Olivia Dean’s song “So Easy (To Fall In Love),” and revealed it was filmed by their 4-year-old daughter, Lilibet. Meghan, who also shares 6-year-old son Archie with Harry, gave their daughter credit in the Instagram post’s caption, simply writing, “cred: our daughter.”

The couple also posted an old photo from when they first started dating. It showed them hugging during a trip to a beautiful natural setting.

“When 2026 feels just like 2016….,” Meghan wrote in the caption. “You had to be there.”

Queen Sofia of Spain’s sister passed away on January 15th at the age of 83, according to an announcement from the Greek royal family’s office.

The Greek Royal Family announced with great sadness the death of Princess Irene, a cherished sister and aunt, who passed away on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, at 11:40 AM local time at Zarzuela Palace in Madrid. She was surrounded by family and friends.

The funeral for her took place on January 19th at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens, and she was buried at the Royal Cemetery of Tatoi.

On her 44th birthday, the Princess of Wales shared a message on the power of nature to heal.

In a recent video, Kate reflected on winter, noting how its quiet stillness can encourage patience and self-reflection. She described it as a time when things slow down enough for us to look inward and connect with both ourselves and the natural world around us.

I’ve been thinking about how grateful I am. It’s like a gentle release – letting go of fears, finding peace with sadness, and truly feeling what it means to be alive. Nature is a quiet, comforting presence that helps us remember and heal.
