Peter Phillips is taking a royally big step in his relationship. 

In a delightful turn of events, the child of Princess Anne and her former spouse, Mark Phillips, announced that he is now engaged to Harriet Sperling, following over a year of their romantic journey together.

Mr. Peter Phillips, who is the son of HRH The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips, as well as Harriet Sperling, daughter of the late Mr. Rupert Sanders and Mrs. Mary Sanders from Gloucestershire, have officially announced their engagement. This was confirmed by their spokesperson Gerard Franklin in a statement to Hello! on August 1. The families, who were informed together about the announcement, are overjoyed with the fantastic news of their union.

Besides Anne’s parents, other members of the royal family are equally elated by the news. King Charles and Queen Camila, along with Prince William and Kate Middleton, have also received the joyful announcement.

On January 14, the Princess of Wales shared the good news that she has achieved remission following her full course of cancer treatment.

She expressed her gratitude for being in remission and continued her focus on healing in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) on January 14th. It’s no secret that life after a cancer diagnosis requires time to adapt to the changed circumstances.

She went on saying, “I’m excited for a rewarding year to come,” and added, “There are many exciting things to anticipate.

In a heartfelt farewell, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, grieved over the passing of her cherished rescue dog, whom she welcomed into her home back in 2015, years prior to marrying Prince Harry.

On Instagram, she posted on January 7th: “I’ve shed so many tears I’ve lost count – the kind of tears that lead you to step into the shower with the irrational hope that the water washing your face will erase them, or make it seem like they don’t exist. Yet, they do. And it’s alright to acknowledge that as well.
