Wemade Max and MADNGINE have just revealed the first trailer, details, and screenshots for Project TAL, a single-player action RPG set in an open world. The game, formerly known as TAL: The Arcane Lands, draws inspiration from Korean mythology and is planned for release on PC and consoles in 2027.

He stated that by combining MADNGINE’s technical skills and creative design, they are developing a high-quality, open-world game intended for international audiences.

Project TAL is a high-quality, single-player action role-playing game. It draws inspiration from traditional Korean Tal masks and the myths and stories connected to them, creating a vast and captivating fantasy world for players to discover.
The game’s reveal trailer highlights exciting, action-packed battles. Players will be able to jump onto huge monsters to attack, target their vulnerabilities, and use well-timed counters and skill combinations to defeat enemies.
You won’t have to face challenges by yourself in the game. The trailer also showcases a key feature of Project TAL: a unique companion system that adapts to how you play and the surrounding environment.
In Project TAL, you’ll team up with diverse NPC companions, each with their own skills, personalities, and fighting styles – some are tanks, healers, and others excel at close-range, long-range, or magical combat.
