Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus Essential games for June 2026 ahead of schedule as part of its Days of Play 2026 celebration.
As always, there are three new titles available. You can download them starting June 2nd, and they are listed below:
- Grounded Fully Yoked Edition (PS5, PS4) | Review
- Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 (PS5, PS4) | Review
- Warhammer 40,000: Darktide (PS5) | Review
Plus, we have some early news about the PS Plus Extra lineup for June – it’s kicking off with the Destiny 2: Legacy Collection! We’ll share the full lists of games for both Extra and Premium tiers next month.
Essential’s games are all built around the idea of playing with others, clearly prioritizing a multiplayer experience.
Grounded and Darktide are best enjoyed in co-op, which All-Star Brawl 2 is obviously a fighter.
Even if you prefer to play solo, these three games consistently receive positive reviews. Darktide, especially, is still getting great updates and support, and I wholeheartedly recommend it if you’re looking for intense, action-packed gameplay.
Grounded was originally available only on Xbox and PC, and it’s a great game to try if you enjoy crafting and building things.
All-Star Brawl 2 isn’t the most popular fighting game right now, but it’s still enjoyable to watch familiar characters battle it out on bright, lively stages. It’s likely a great choice for younger players.
