  • Neon White (PS5, PS4) | Review

LEGO Horizon Adventures, released on PS5 last year, will be the free PS Plus Essential game for December 2025. Our review found it wasn’t as strong as other recent LEGO games, giving it a score of 6 out of 10 and noting:

This LEGO game is a delightful and accessible adaptation of the popular Sony series, capturing the story, characters, and action really well, and it looks great too. However, after the initial fun, the levels become a bit empty and start to feel the same, lacking the challenging platforming or clever puzzles you might hope for.

The Outlast Trials offers a new way to experience the survival horror series with its multiplayer format. It’s a solid spin-off that has received consistent updates since its release, earning it a 7/10 score from us. We found that while it might not deliver the same single-player scares as previous games, it effectively adapts the core gameplay – hiding from disturbing enemies and relying on night vision – for cooperative play with up to three friends online.

Neon White is a fast-paced platformer where you race to the finish line, completing challenges along the way. We gave it an 8/10, praising its smooth, stylish design and, most importantly, how addictive it is trying to achieve the fastest possible time on each level.
