This interview trailer doesn’t reveal much new about Denshattack!, the extreme sports game centered around railways, but it’s worth watching just for how visually impressive it is.
The Barcelona-based team, Undercoders, is clearly inspired by classic SEGA games from the early 2000s, like Jet Set Radio and Densha de Go, which influenced their newest project.
We first tried this game at Gamescom last year. It turned out to be a bit more complex than we thought, but we really enjoyed the overall idea and atmosphere.

This game puts you in the driver’s seat of a train traveling through Japan, but with a twist – you’ll also be performing tricks similar to those in skateboarding games! You’ll need to stay focused on train signals, obstacles, and everything else around you. It’s challenging, but incredibly enjoyable.
The title’s due out in the Spring, so it’s not too far away.
