Capcom debuted new footage of Resident Evil Requiem during today’s Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase.

The Nintendo Direct today showed off new gameplay for Resident Evil Requiem on the Nintendo Switch 2. This ninth main installment in the popular Resident Evil series will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GeForce NOW starting February 27, 2026. Players will experience intense action as Leon S. Kennedy and chilling survival horror as Grace Ashcroft, with the ability to switch between first- and third-person views at any time. Get ready for a fresh survival horror experience that blends moments of calm with heart-pounding intensity.

I’m so excited! This summer, they’re releasing the very first Resident Evil amiibo figures – one of Grace Ashcroft and one of the awesome Leon S. Kennedy! And you can pre-order Resident Evil Requiem right now! There’s a Standard edition, but if you get the Deluxe edition, you also get a bunch of cool extras like five costumes, four weapon skins, two screen filters, and even two charms. It’s a ton of stuff!

The new game, Resident Evil Requiem, will be released on February 27th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam.
