
Capcom didn’t just announce a release date for Pragmata; they also unveiled a new trailer for Resident Evil Requiem. The trailer confirmed a long-held suspicion – Leon S. Kennedy will be a playable character, and his gameplay will focus more on action compared to the character Grace.
Leon isn’t just skilled with a handgun and fighting – he can even use a chainsaw, finally getting back at Dr. Salazar for years of trouble. While he’s rescuing Grace, he’s also pursuing his own investigation. Adding to the mystery is Victor Gideon, who has a history with the Umbrella Corporation and recently bought a building connected to them.
We’ll share more information as soon as it’s available. Resident Evil Requiem, launching February 27th, 2026, explores what happened after the Raccoon City disaster. This is a first for the series – players can freely switch between playing in first-person and third-person. The development team is prioritizing completing the game, so there won’t be a demo this time.
