Fans of role-playing games have a new title to look forward to in 2026: Solasta 2, the sequel to Solasta: Crown of the Magister. Developed by Tactical Adventures, the game is based on the popular 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons ruleset and will enter early access in March 2026, promising a robust tabletop role-playing game experience.
Okay, so I’ve been playing Solasta 2, and it’s awesome! The game drops you into this world called Neokos and just lets you go. Seriously, you can explore at your own speed, and the story is really pulling me in. Plus, they got a fantastic voice cast – you might recognize Amelia Taylor and Devora Wilde from Baldur’s Gate 3, and Ben Starr from Clair Obscur is in it too! You build a party of four, and together you’ll travel all over Neokos. What’s cool is I feel like I have a lot of control over what happens, but there’s still an element of chance – you know, dice rolls – that keeps things interesting and unpredictable. It’s a great balance!
The game isn’t out yet, but you can try a free demo on Steam now. It will also be available through Steam Early Access starting March 12, 2026.
