Aniplex, JoyCity, and Capcom announced that Resident Evil: Survival Unit will launch on November 18th for both Android and iOS devices in 151 countries and regions. It will be available through the Google Play Store and the App Store. They also plan to release the game in more locations soon, and a complete list of supported countries is available on the official website.
Okay, so everyone else is getting Resident Evil: Survival Unit right now, but it looks like players in South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brunei, Myanmar, and Mongolia will have to wait until early 2026. Luckily, if you’re in one of those countries and are hyped for the game, you can already pre-register on your favorite online store to be ready when it drops!
Resident Evil: Survival Unit is a strategy game set in the popular Resident Evil world. The developers aim to combine the simple gameplay of mobile games with the complex strategy of traditional real-time strategy games. It will also include multiplayer features, allowing players around the globe to connect, compete, and experience new adventures within the Resident Evil universe.
Pre-registration for Resident Evil: Survival Unit began in July, and the game has already received over 2 million sign-ups worldwide. Players who pre-register will also receive a bonus pack of items to help them get started and progress quickly in the game.
In Resident Evil: Survival Unit, you begin the game waking up in a strange hospital after being secretly experimented on by the Umbrella Corporation. As you investigate, you’ll uncover the truth about the company and attempt to escape. The game features an original story, and fans can expect to see familiar faces and characters from across the Resident Evil series make appearances.
Once players escape the strange hospitals, they’ll focus on building and upgrading their home base – a luxurious mansion. This mansion isn’t just a base of operations; it’s where players will meet iconic characters like Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, and Leon Kennedy. A merchant will also be available to help players become more powerful by selling weapons and equipment.
Players can really put their strategic skills to the test in Resident Evil: Survival Unit, as they’ll face zombies from every direction. A key part of the game is defending against powerful creatures using unique character abilities. The developers call this combat fast-paced and intense, with a lot riding on every decision.
