Rev. Noir is a New Hack-and-Slash Game by Konami About a World Where Lightfall Kills All it Touches

Konami recently revealed a new game called Rev. Noir with a short teaser trailer during the State of Play event. The trailer doesn’t show much gameplay, but it suggests the game will focus on adventure and manipulating memories.

The trailer briefly shows exciting, fast-paced combat where players will battle various monsters. The main character won’t be alone, though – they’ll be joined by companions who each have unique skills to help in fights.

Okay, so the trailer’s description is… weird. It’s not really giving us a straight answer about the story. It’s all flowery language, almost like a poem or a strange chat. Basically, it’s about a kid who’s lost his memory and a special girl who team up to stop something called Lightfall. Apparently, Lightfall is super dangerous – it kills anyone it touches, which sounds… not good.

I’m still waiting to hear when Rev. Noir will actually come out, and right now it’s only confirmed for PlayStation 5. But Konami showed off a lot more than just that! They also announced a brand new Castlevania game is happening, which is amazing! And even better, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 – including Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker – is coming to both PC and consoles on August 27th. I can’t wait!
