Don’t believe everything you read about Kelsey Swanson.

The star of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island addressed claims that she worked as a sex worker before joining the Bravo show.

A report circulating on Instagram on April 4th alleged that Kelsey, 31, appeared as an escort named Alexia Lins on a website that is no longer active. The report claimed her services were priced between $500 and $2,900 in March 2016. Kelsey, a former Miss Rhode Island, immediately denied the claims, stating they were false.

Okay, I had to say something! I saw this ridiculous claim going around, and seriously? She’s NEVER been an escort. It’s all a lie, some fake pages someone created like ten years ago! The state police actually got involved back then to sort it all out. I’m just glad someone finally shared this so we could clear things up, honestly. It’s so frustrating seeing this stuff resurface!

Kelsey enjoys setting the record straight about her life story, and she’s also giving fans a glimpse into how she lives now on the newest season of The Real Housewives. This includes details about her ten-year relationship with a wealthy, but currently unnamed, partner.

She described her relationship as unusual, explaining that her partner dates several people. For about six months out of the year, he spends time in Miami with other partners.

Although Kelsey said this wasn’t her ideal situation, she hesitated to leave because her generous benefactor allowed her to live a very comfortable life.

She explained that she wants a serious, committed relationship, but recognizes her partner is set in his ways. He won’t change, and she feels she has to either accept him as he is or move on.

But Kelsey’s boyfriend doesn’t appear to be her only leading man.

In a preview for the rest of the season, she announced that the two men in her life were amazing, which led her co-star, Rosie DiMare, to exclaim, “So you do have two boyfriends? Seriously?!”
