Riot Games’ card game, Riftbound, quickly gained popularity with its first two sets. Now that players are exploring the Spiritforged set, excitement is building for the upcoming third set, Unleashed. Riftbound: Unleashed will introduce new ways to upgrade your Champions and develop strategies, and we’re giving you an exclusive first look at a powerful new card featuring a formidable demon.
ComicBook is excited to announce a new addition to Riftbound: Unleashed – Evelynn, a powerful Champion Unit and a force of demonic nature! This purple Chaos Domain card costs 2 and has 2 Might. While the artwork is striking, Evelynn is also a valuable combat tool. As a reaction card, she can help you turn the tide of battle on multiple fronts.

Evelynn Entrancing Can Make or Break a Battle

Like other cards from the Chaos Domain, this Evelynn version has a ‘Hidden’ ability. You can pay 1 power from any domain to play it face down, saving it to use as a reaction on a later turn without any additional cost. Remember, you need to have a battlefield in play to use this hidden unit. When you do play it as a reaction, it gives you unexpected advantages during combat.
Besides her Hidden ability, Evelynn also has Backline, which protects her by making enemies target other players before her. This significantly increases her chances of surviving fights and staying in the game longer, frustrating anyone trying to eliminate her quickly.
As a huge fan, I have to say this card is amazing! It works perfectly with her core power. Basically, you can play it secretly on your turn and pull an enemy unit from another battlefield onto hers. So she not only strengthens her own side, but she also takes damage last, and then messes with your opponent by relocating a unit. It’s incredible because you can impact two different fights in a single turn, and potentially swing a battle that’s happening elsewhere completely in your favor right away!

Evelynn is a powerful Champion Unit with versatile abilities that can really turn the tide in a match. In the close, strategic battles of Riftbound, these kinds of options are incredibly valuable. When you’re barely winning, Champions like Evelynn can give you the extra push you need to secure victory, and we’re excited to see what other powerful units Unleashed will bring.
Players can start experiencing early access to Riftbound: Unleashed on May 1, 2026. The complete game will be available on May 8, 2026.
