According to a trustworthy source, Billbil-kun, Bethesda Softworks and Bethesda Game Studio plan to launch Starfield on PlayStation 5 on April 7th.
The PlayStation 5 is expected to come in two versions – a standard edition and a more feature-rich Premium edition – and both will be available to buy in stores and online. You’ll reportedly be able to pre-order either version starting March 18th.
Starfield first launched for Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on September 6, 2023.
Here is a brief overview of the game, via Bethesda Softworks:
Starfield is a brand new universe created by Bethesda Game Studios, the team behind the popular games Skyrim and Fallout 4. It’s a next-generation role-playing game where you can create any character you imagine and freely explore the vastness of space on an incredible journey to uncover the biggest questions about humanity.
It’s the year 2330, and humanity has spread among the stars, colonizing new worlds and becoming a spacefaring civilization. You’ll start as a simple space miner before joining Constellation, the last group dedicated to exploring the galaxy and finding lost artifacts. Embark on an adventure across the vast Settled Systems in Bethesda Game Studios’ most expansive game yet.
