The Last Druid Movie Reveals Its Award-Winning Cast

Russell Crowe is set to play a calm, older Celtic leader in the upcoming film, The Last Druid. He heads a hidden Druid community high in the mountains of Scotland. The story kicks into high gear when a Roman Emperor finds their secret location and tries to rob them, leading Crowe’s character to fight to save his family and community from destruction.

Joining the cast are Rose Leslie, known for her role in Game of Thrones, Daniel Zovatto from Don’t Breathe and Woman of the Hour, and Andreas Pietschmann, who starred in the popular Netflix series Dark. William Eubank, the director of films like The Signal (2014) and Underwater (2020), as well as Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin, will be at the helm. The screenplay is written by Phil Gawthorne (Waterloo Road) and Carlyle Eubank (Muzzle, Muzzle: City of Wolves).

Filming is set to begin next month at various locations in Spain (Barcelona, Canary Islands).
