Sabrina Carpenter “Arrests” Gigi Hadid at Pittsburgh Concert

Sabrina Carpenter has found a new suspect that can fit her fuzzy pink handcuffs. 

During her October 23rd concert in Pittsburgh, singer Bebe Rexha jokingly ‘arrested’ model Gigi Hadid, playfully adding her to the group of fans Rexha affectionately calls her ‘Juno’ girls.

Sabrina, 26, spotted model Gigi, 30, on the venue’s big screen and asked where she was from, according to a TikTok video posted by a fan. Gigi happily responded, “Bucks County!”

Oh my gosh, you guys, did you hear? Gigi and her adorable daughter Khai, who’s FIVE now, moved to a farm in Pennsylvania way back in 2020! And Sabrina, who’s also from Pennsylvania, was saying how she and Gigi are basically soulmates! I knew they were meant to be! It just makes so much sense that they ended up there together, raising their little ones. I’m seriously obsessed with this whole vibe!

She playfully confessed, “Gigi, I’m getting all worked up!” and gave Gigi a pair of her signature bright pink bracelets as she introduced her song, “Juno.” She laughed, saying, “I always get like this when I think about love. This one’s for Gigi, everyone!”

The Guest In Residence founder calmly kissed Sabrina goodbye and allowed herself to be arrested. Afterwards, Gigi excitedly posted on Instagram about her upcoming sentence, even sharing a picture with the caption “guilty as charged.”

She also praised Sabrina’s performance by sharing a video of them singing together – Sabrina performing the bridge of “House Tour” with her backup singers.

Since Taylor Swift’s tour began last September, she’s reportedly started relationships with several famous people, including Millie Bobby Brown, the popular Saturday Night Live character Domingo (played by Marcelo Hernandez), and Jack Antonoff and his wife, Margaret Qualley.

Despite some criticism of her playful and suggestive performances and recent music, the actress known for Tall Girl has no plans to tone down her flirty and humorous style.

She recently told Vogue Italia that learning to laugh off awkward moments has always been her way of coping. She believes humor isn’t just a way to get through tough times, but also a kind of self-preservation, helping her navigate future challenges.

Born on May 11, 1999, in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, Sabrina is the youngest of three children. As a Taurus, she believes growing up in the peaceful environment of her hometown allowed her creativity to develop. Sabrina has said that Miley Cyrus was a childhood idol, and meeting her was a dream come true—although she now wishes she’d chosen a different outfit to wear when they met.

She told MTV UK that when she was ten, Miley Cyrus was her biggest idol. She remembers meeting Cyrus while wearing a fedora, a fashion choice she now regrets. Even though Cyrus had a cold at the time, she was incredibly kind to her, and it’s a moment she’ll always cherish.

Like mother, like daughter! Actress and content creator Apple Carpenter comes from a family with a strong artistic background. Her mother, Elizabeth Carpenter, is now a chiropractor but used to be a dancer, and her father, David Carpenter, was once a musician in a band.

Sabrina collaborated with Meghan Trainor to write her first single, “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying,” which was released in 2014.

Theater fans often hear shows advertised as “one night only,” meaning they’re only performed once. But in March 2020, Sabrina was preparing for a five-month run as Cady Heron in the Broadway production of Mean Girls when, unexpectedly, the show closed after just one performance.

She explained to CBS Sunday Morning in October 2024 that after three months of rehearsals in New York and just two opening performances, the pandemic brought everything to a halt. It was a humbling experience. She went home and realized, after all her training and preparation for a demanding schedule, everything had suddenly gone quiet.

When Sabrina traveled, she playfully used the name “Mrs. Doubtfire” – a reference to the famous 1993 movie starring Robin Williams.

In a 2022 interview with Vanity Fair, the actress reminisced about a funny experience she had while traveling. She enjoyed watching people’s reactions when they expected Robin Williams to appear, but instead saw her. At first, they were surprised, but eventually, people realized it was her and stopped being so shocked.

The title song from Sabrina Carpenter’s 2022 album, Emails I Can’t Send, is very personal, as it deals with her father’s infidelity. The song explores how his actions changed her view of what constitutes a “nice guy.” When she finally shared the song with her father, she did so remotely, telling Vogue in February 2025 that she definitely didn’t play it for him face-to-face.

Sabrina recently told The Sun on Sunday that she wants concertgoers to be comfortable with her confidence and openness about her sexuality, stating, “If you can’t handle that, my shows aren’t for you.”
