There are some things Sandra Bullock knows for certain—and a comeback is one.
Actress Sandra Bullock turned heads when she met up with Nicole Kidman at CinemaCon 2026 on April 14th. The two were there to promote the upcoming sequel to their popular movie.
Sandra Bullock, 61, turned heads at her first red carpet event of 2024. She wore a striking red suit, leaving the blazer open to reveal a matching black bralette and shoes. The Bird Box star looked radiant as she posed for photographers.
The Miss Congeniality star kept her makeup natural and wore her long, brown hair flowing down her back.
Nicole embraced a mystical style, wearing a flowing black dress with see-through sections and delicate lace. She completed the look with coordinating black heels, perfectly complementing her vibe, much like her role in Big Little Lies.
Despite not appearing in a movie together since 1998—when they played sisters in Practical Magic—Sandra and Nicole quickly fell back into their dynamic when reuniting for the sequel.
The two also playfully referenced Nicole’s famous commercial for AMC, which was especially perfect given the themes of Practical Magic.

As Sandra and Nicole walked onto the stage, Sandra asked, “Why are we here?” Nicole replied, “We come here for magic,” according to Deadline.
Being back on the big screen with Nicole was incredible. It honestly felt like we were returning to a place we’d always belonged, a comfortable home we’d shared before. It was just…right.
To celebrate the movie, Sandra Bullock made her first-ever Instagram post, dedicating it to the project. After previously refusing to join the platform for years, the mother of Louis, 16, and Laila, 11, chose to launch her account with a tribute to the highly anticipated sequel, which arrives in theaters on September 18.

In a video posted to Instagram on April 14th, Sandra demonstrated that her magical abilities are still intact. She’s shown in costume using a simple gesture to turn on a blender with just a point of her finger.
As she captioned the post, “Midnight somewhere…”
The star of The Proposal recently created a social media account and used it to celebrate her return to public life. She playfully commented “We’re so back” on an Instagram post from July featuring a hug with Nicole, signaling her renewed presence in the spotlight.
