Coffee Stain Studios has unveiled plans for a console adaptation of their widely acclaimed science fiction factory-construction game, Satisfactory.
Initially available as an early-access title on PC for several years, this game reached its full version launch in 2024. Now, it is set to arrive on the PlayStation 5.
As the new trailer shows, Satisfactory lands on Sony’s console on 4th November, 2025:
You play as a colonist on an alien planet, looking to set up infrastructure for humanity’s arrival.
As a gamer, I can opt to team up with friends or go solo in this captivating game. The main goal is amassing resources, methodically expanding my factory, and delving into the mysterious world it’s set in. There might be a bit of action-packed combat thrown in along the way!
Given the circumstances, your factory has the potential to expand considerably, becoming intricate and versatile enough to manufacture a wide array of items and resources you require.
Approximately 120,000 Steam users have rated Satisfactory as ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’, indicating a highly appreciated game. Its PC launch received praise from many critics as well.
As a gaming enthusiast eagerly waiting for the new year, I truly hope that the port of this upcoming title to PS5 lives up to expectations. With its unique factory theme, it’s shaping up to be an exceptional addition to my console library. There aren’t many games like it on PS5 at the moment, which means there could be quite a buzz surrounding its release later in the year. Fingers crossed!
