See Lindsay Lohan’s Rare Photo of 2-Year-Old Son Luai

The limit to Lindsay Lohan‘s love for her son does not exist.

The Mean Girls actress couldn’t help but express her love for her daughter, Luai—whom she shares with her husband, Bader Shammas—while offering a rare look at what life is like as a mother.

Lindsay shared a photo on Instagram on May 28th of herself with her 2-year-old, who was giving her a sweet kiss on the cheek. She captioned the picture, “Lucky mama.”

Lindsay Lohan, age 39, loves being a mom more than anything. Her close friend and Freaky Friday co-star, Jamie Lee Curtis, has observed that Lindsay’s focus has shifted since welcoming her son, Luai, in 2023.

The Oscar-winning actress said last year that her son is her top priority. She explained she’s a new mother and dealing with all the challenges that come with it.

Because of past experiences, Lindsay is now very careful about the roles she chooses. In a 2024 interview with TopMob, she said she wants to work on projects her son can watch and enjoy.

I’m still figuring things out and learning as I go,” she explained. “I’m trying to discover what I want and the best way to achieve it.

That includes having Luai join her on set whenever he can. 

Lindsay, who lives in Dubai, feels lucky that her son is young enough to accompany her everywhere, and she prefers to have him with her as much as possible. She anticipates that traveling with him will become more challenging as he gets older.

Especially since the tint tot is becoming more Independent with each passing day. 

“He runs!” Lindsay told TopMob in July. “Fast, out of that house. He’s like, ‘Outside!’ Gone.”

Plus, the Parent Trap actress’ son is also quite the prankster. 

Okay, so this is SO crazy! I have this habit of telling Luai, ‘Don’t do that!’ – it’s just something I say. But this morning, get this, he said it to me, ‘Don’t do that, Luai,’ and then looked right at me! I swear, I almost died! It was like he was totally mocking me, reading my mind or something. I was completely floored!

Lindsay Lohan revealed she’s engaged to her boyfriend, Bader Shammas, after dating for three years. She shared the news on Instagram with a picture of her engagement ring and a heartfelt message: “My love. My life. My family. My future.”

She shared on Instagram in July, “You found me and understood my desire for both happiness and peace. I still can’t believe you’re my husband – you are my whole life, and every woman deserves to feel this way every single day.”

Just over a month after getting married, Lindsay shared a sweet photo of herself and her husband enjoying time together in London. She posted the picture on Instagram with a caption saying she was at “the Home of the queen” and included a crown emoji.

Now that she’s back to acting, the star of Falling for Christmas shared that she had incredible support from those around her, including Bader.

She told Cosmopolitan in October 2022 that she has a wonderful and very calm husband, and she’s grateful for her family.

As Lindsay put it, she’s grateful for the circle of people she has in her life today.

She shared that she’s grateful for a close circle of genuinely good friends. That’s all the support she needs – the love and care of her friends, family, and those she cares about.

The couple traveled to New York and spent time with her family, including her brother Dakota Lohan, at the Museum of Ice Cream. They also had a great date watching the U.S. Open.

The actress shared a photo of herself with her partner along with other family pictures, and for the first time, revealed images of their son, Luai.
