Sega is releasing a new, free-to-play football management game called Sega Football Club Champions 2026 on January 22, 2026. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and both iOS and Android devices. Sega says the game is built using the same engine that powers the popular Football Manager series, and you can sign up to pre-register now on all platforms.
At its heart, Sega Football Club Champions 2026 lets you build a football team from the ground up, using in-game management tools to lead them to success. Built on the same solid simulation technology as Football Manager, this free-to-play game features real player data licensed from FIFPRO, and allows you to compete in leagues like the J and K leagues, and many more.
I’m really excited because Sega Football Club Champions 2026 is coming to a lot of different platforms, and that means I can play and make progress on my phone, tablet, PlayStation, or PC – and it all carries over! Plus, they’re including full cross-play, so I can jump between devices whenever I want and still play with all my friends.
In Sega Football Club Champions 2026, you’ll build and manage a football team by recruiting top players from around the globe. Once your team is assembled, you can compete in your favorite league and work your way to the championship.
As players progress, they’ll need to improve their team beyond just playing matches. This includes constructing training facilities and creating programs to help players excel in their positions. These programs can be customized to focus on specific skills. These facilities and programs are especially valuable for developing promising young players into top athletes.
As a manager, you’ll have lots of ways to plan your matches, considering what each of your players does best and where they struggle. The choices you make throughout the game will significantly shape your club’s future.
You can enjoy Sega Football Club Champions 2026 in many ways! Play a solo career managing your own team, or go head-to-head against others in PvP modes to prove your skills. Multiplayer includes both Cup matches and the International Cup, where you can compete with your managed team and climb the leaderboards.
