Silent Hill: Townfall Will Sound Just as Good as It Looks

Developer Screen Burn is starting to share details about its upcoming Silent Hill: Townfall game, which is planned for release on PlayStation 5 in 2026. They recently announced that Anthony Scott Burns, known as Pilotpriest, will be creating the game’s soundtrack, and a preview of the music is now available online.

You can listen to the track, called “Home,” above. The accompanying visuals showcase scenes from the game’s location, St. Amelia.

Byron Bullock, a sound designer previously involved with the game Alien Isolation, is also contributing to the audio for this title.

Burns shared that composing the music for this project was a career highlight, describing the creative process as remarkably intuitive and collaborative. He and the team often made decisions based on feeling, all working towards a shared vision. He was also grateful for the freedom to explore and experiment, as everyone was committed to creating something genuine, emotionally resonant, and that captured the essence of the series, even if it meant confronting difficult themes like fear.

Silent Hill: Townfall is officially coming to PS5 in 2026. The game introduces Simon Ordell, who travels to the Scottish-inspired town of St. Amelia to resolve past issues. As he explores, he uncovers links between himself, the town, and its inhabitants, slowly revealing forgotten memories and a hidden history.
