Top Hat Studios and Anji Games announced that their psychological horror game, *Silly Polly Beast*, will be available in October on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through Steam.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
Okay, so I’m playing this game where I’m a girl thrown into a seriously messed up situation – I have to face this huge, terrifying beast. But it’s not just about blasting away; to actually get out of this, I need to *understand* the monster, learn what makes it tick. It’s a story-focused shooter, super intense gunfights, and honestly, the monsters are nightmare fuel. The big question is, how long can *I* survive and actually fight my way to freedom?
What will you do when you discover what you’ve done?
This story follows Polly, an ordinary high school student who discovers a dark power within herself that she needs to use to protect her independence. The city is covered in a dangerous, thick fog. If you notice the fog rolling in, be cautious! A special bracelet will glow red to warn you when the fog is nearby and poses an immediate threat.
You’ll meet strange beings from another world, and while they won’t all be hostile, none of them will help you. Whatever happens, always remember the agreement that brought you to this dark place.
Get ready for a fresh take on gameplay, where you’ll explore a vast world and fight battles viewed from both the side and above. Discovering lost, ancient secrets will make you stronger, and as Polly learns new spells, she’ll become an even more powerful and dangerous fighter.
Don’t plead for freedom, seize it.
