The remastered version of the 1998 first-person shooter, SiN: Reloaded, is scheduled to release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Publishers 3D Realms and Nightdive Studios, along with developers Nightdive Studios, Slipgate Ironworks, and Ritual Entertainment, made the announcement.

SiN: Reloaded, created by Nightdive Studios, is a complete overhaul of the classic 1998 shooter originally developed by Ritual Entertainment. This action-packed first-person shooter boasts a compelling story, unforgettable characters, terrifying enemies, and a powerful collection of weapons, all built on the advanced Quake II Engine.
Step into a dark, futuristic world as Colonel John R. Blade, a security expert, and confront the dangerously alluring Doctor Elexis Sinclaire. When Elexis, the head of SinTEK Industries, starts distributing a drug that changes people’s DNA, everything you thought was right and wrong gets turned upside down. Blade has always been dedicated to fighting crime, and now he’s determined to make Elexis answer for her actions by battling her terrifying army of genetically modified mutants.
SiN was praised for its incredibly interactive environments. Players could do things like hack computers using code similar to DOS, control elevators and security cameras to cause trouble, and even drive vehicles like forklifts, boats, and helicopters. The game responded to your actions, creating different outcomes and paths. SiN was also an early innovator in features like disarming opponents and taking damage based on where you were hit.
The SiN: Reloaded package includes the Wages of SiN expansion, putting you up against a ruthless mafia boss and his mutant army. Both games have been updated with the KEX Engine to work on today’s computers. Nightdive Studios has remastered the graphics with new textures, modernized the controls, and refined the maps for a better gaming experience.
