Fans are eager for news about Season 3 of Solo Leveling, and the anime’s producer has recently shared encouraging updates. The first two seasons of Solo Leveling were incredibly popular, quickly becoming a fan favorite and generating a lot of discussion. While many wondered if a third season would happen, the producer’s comments offer renewed hope for the future.
Atsushi Kaneko, the producer of Solo Leveling, recently spoke at Mumbai Comic Con 2026 (as reported by @Sage2612 on X) and addressed questions about a potential Season 3. While he didn’t confirm anything specific, Kaneko assured fans he’s actively working on the anime’s future and asked for a little more patience.
Solo Leveling Producer Shares Promising Season 3 Update
During the panel, Kaneko’s translator explained that he has many future plans but couldn’t share details just yet, only that he’s working hard to make them happen. When asked specifically about a possible Season 3 of the anime, the translator said Kaneko is dedicated to meeting fans’ expectations and is putting in the effort, but requested a little more time. This makes sense given the anime’s incredibly positive reception so far.
The anime Solo Leveling premiered in 2024, with its first two seasons released close together. It quickly became a fan favorite and a major success in 2025, continuing to win awards. The season finale hinted at even bigger challenges to come for the main character, Sung Jinwoo, as he prepares to face more powerful foes. However, there have been no official announcements yet regarding a third season.
What’s Next for Solo Leveling?

Although the Solo Leveling anime is currently on hold, it’s expected to return soon. The franchise has stayed popular with new releases throughout the year, even adding to the story beyond what’s shown in the anime. Since future episodes haven’t been confirmed yet, now is a great time to get caught up on everything that’s happened so far.
While you’re waiting for Season 3, you can now watch Solo Leveling on Crunchyroll with both Japanese and English audio options. It’s also a contender for awards at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards, so we’ll see if it wins any!
