It’s been a year since the second season of Solo Leveling finished, and the animation studio hasn’t announced when the next season will be released. Solo Leveling is a hugely popular anime, and fans worldwide are eager to see the rest of Jinwoo’s story. Season two ended with the exciting Jeju Island Arc, where Jinwoo defeated the Ant King and added him to his shadows. However, the series still needs to explore many unanswered questions about the world’s past, including the cosmic wars and the origins of the mysterious gates. The show is produced by A-1 Pictures, a well-respected animation studio known for its high-quality work.
Although Solo Leveling is the studio’s biggest hit, they’ve also created other popular anime like Kaguya-sama: Love Is War and Your Lie in April. This year, they’re launching a brand new, original anime called Grow Up Show. It was first announced last year and is scheduled to debut in July 2026. The release date was revealed along with a first glimpse of the beautiful animation.
What Is Grow Up Show About?
The story takes place in 1950s Japan, a time of rapid economic growth when the circus was incredibly popular. Many traveling circus groups competed for a chance to perform at the prestigious Circus Collection festival, reserved for the very best. The Himawari Circus, led by Maria, is one such group, struggling to stay afloat as they tour the country.
Himawari Circus was facing difficulties until a talented newcomer, Mizuka Tsurumaki, joined and promised to revolutionize the entertainment industry. While the exact release date and where to watch the anime haven’t been announced yet, more information will be available a few weeks before it premieres. The recently released teaser introduces the story and its main characters, who are detailed on the anime’s official website. Kanta Kanmei, known for directing Bunny Drop, is directing this new series.
The anime series Grow Up Show is a recent collaboration between A1-Pictures and Psyde Kick Studio, launching just last year. These studios previously worked together on the anime film Kusunoki no Bannin, which was released in Japan in January and is awaiting international distribution. While the highly anticipated Solo Leveling is still in production, the studio is also developing other projects. They’ve confirmed an anime adaptation of the popular Shonen manga Bless, scheduled to premiere next year, with a release date set for March 2026.
