The incredibly popular web novel and manhwa, Solo Leveling, quickly gained fans worldwide. This success set the stage for a highly anticipated anime, which went on to break streaming records on Crunchyroll. While a third season of the anime is on the way, the franchise is also expanding with Solo Leveling: Karma, a new action RPG for PC and mobile devices developed by Netmarble. Announced at Anime Expo in July 2025, the game will feature a completely original story, specifically focusing on the highly-regarded Monarchs War Arc from the series.
The upcoming game, Karma, will not only retell the original story but also add new scenes to expand upon it. Players will experience Sung Jinwoo’s journey back in time, where he spent 27 years fighting to prevent the appearance of dangerous gates and save countless lives. Despite his selfless sacrifice succeeding in saving the world – though going unnoticed by the public – the game’s release has been delayed. Originally planned for this year, Netmarble now expects Karma to launch in the second half of 2026, with a specific date yet to be announced.
Solo Leveling Hasn’t Shared Any Updates on Season 3, Even After a Year

It’s been over a year since the last season aired, and there’s been no news about Season 3. Although rumors suggest a movie might come out before the new season, A-1 Pictures hasn’t confirmed anything. These rumors started with a social media post and quickly spread, with many popular accounts sharing the news despite limited details. While fans might hear something significant in 2026, it’s unlikely a new season or movie will be released this year.
Season two of the anime concludes the Jeju Island storyline, featuring Sung Jinwoo’s battle against the Ant King and his efforts to contain a dangerous Dungeon Break that put the world at risk. As a newly recognized S-Rank Hunter, all eyes were on him, and his accomplishments on the island didn’t go unnoticed. He also achieves a personal milestone: curing his mother’s Eternal Slumber, a condition affecting many powerless individuals since the appearance of the Gates. From this point forward, the story takes a dramatic turn, revealing the truth about the world and a pivotal war from the past that reshaped everything.
