Sony Poised to Publish PS5 Hit Death Stranding 2 on PC

Okay, so it looks like Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is actually coming to PC! I was really hoping it would, and it seems an ESRB rating just popped up, which usually means a release isn’t too far off. I’m so excited!

505 Games brought the game to other systems, but this happened before the platform owners started releasing more of their own games directly on stores like Steam.

I was so excited when the first game finally came to PC after about eight months! From what I understand, this new one will probably have a similar wait for console players – around six months of being exclusive to those platforms before coming to PC, it seems.

Now that the PS5 version is coming out on June 26th, we expect the PC version to be released by Christmas. We might even hear an announcement at The Game Awards next month, where the game is up for Game of the Year.

It’s important to note that this case is a bit unique compared to other PlayStation 5 games made directly by Sony, because Kojima Productions actually owns the game’s concepts and is a separate, independent development team.

We wholeheartedly recommend this game, as our review of Death Stranding 2 on PS5 (which gave it a perfect 10/10 score) made clear.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is set to be a landmark game for the PlayStation 5. It’s a remarkable success in every area – design, gameplay, story, and graphics – seamlessly blending exciting action with exploration, all within a deeply captivating narrative. Kojima Productions has created a truly cinematic and immersive experience.
