The creators have confirmed that SoulCalibur 3, a classic game originally for PlayStation 2, is still planned to be released on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 later this year.
There was a little confusion about when the port would be released, because it was originally mentioned with Tekken 3, a game added to this month’s PlayStation Plus Premium service.
SoulCalibur 3 is still on track to release before the end of 2025. It will be available immediately on PS Plus Premium, and you’ll also be able to purchase it separately.
The new games for November or December are coming soon. Typically, Extra and Premium game announcements happen around the middle of the month, and the games become available for download the following Tuesday.
We’re probably looking at an 18th November date for SoulCalibur 3, or a 16th December date.
While SoulCalibur 3 didn’t quite reach the legendary status of the original, it remains a highly regarded game in the SoulCalibur series, known for its weapon-based combat.
