Johnny Manziel has reached his limit.
Former NFL player Danny Amendola was the fifth celebrity eliminated from season four of *Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test*. He decided to leave the Fox reality show during the October 16th episode.
During their fourth day in the Moroccan desert, the recruits faced a tough challenge: sneaking through a network of narrow, underground tunnels to reach a signal tower half a mile distant. This exercise simulated infiltrating enemy territory.
Johnny Manziel captained a team featuring Gia Giudice and Chanel Iman, but neither of them were thrilled about facing the challenging obstacle course.
Gia was initially reluctant, telling Special Forces Director Mark Billingham she was about to have a panic attack. Billingham, a no-nonsense military veteran, sharply responded by ordering her to enter the tunnel immediately, or hand over her identification armband.
As the team progressed through the course, the tunnels grew increasingly dark and cramped until Manziel reached a dead end.
The unexpected hurdle sent the 32-year-old into a mental tailspin.
I’m going to struggle with wanting to give up throughout this process,” the former athlete confessed. “There will be a voice telling me to quit and take the easy route, and overcoming that feeling is what I need to concentrate on.”
Discouraged, Manziel told Billingham he was giving up. Billingham responded by urging him to reconsider, saying, “What do you want to do? Think about it. This is your last opportunity.”

Ultimately, Manziel had had enough and declared, “I’m out,” before taking off his recruit armband.
When Manziel quit, all three of his teammates were unable to complete the challenge. He explained that he’d simply hit a personal limit he couldn’t push past.
I sometimes struggle with giving up when things get tough,” Manziel admitted. “It’s a mental battle, and I know it’s been a real weakness for me. You have to accept the choices you’ve made and move forward, because you can’t change the past.

Gia was shocked that Johnny quit, admitting she almost did too. She explained she had a panic attack while watching him leave.
Meanwhile, Chanel struggled to catch her breath and admitted, “I swallowed so much dirt.”
